These are the support personnel of the Black Order.

Komui is the Chief Monitor of the Order and oversees all the support personnel in the Order. However, he still holds a position in the Science Section before his promotion, out of habit. There’s really no way to give justice to Komui’s character without reading him yourself. He is funny (in that really strange way), speaks with musical notes in his speech bubbles, has a bunny on his coffee mug, and is a huge big dork. Basically, Komui is LOVE.

Komui has a really serious case of sister complex. Part of this is because she is his only relative and is very protective of her, but also because (I believe) they were separated for a while when Linalee was very young. The circumstances surrounding how Komui entered the Order, as well as his rapid rise in rank are a mystery. Although rumours say that it’s because of his sister, Komui’s achievements in research regarding Innocence has also been well acknowledged.

River is the Section Leader of the Science Section, though he tends to have to help Komui with the latter’s administrative duties a lot. This means he gets ordered to do the things Komui doesn’t want to do. Yes, poor River is always abused. But, he’s a good-natured person and gets along with everyone. His secret to that, I suspect, is to simply mind his own business.

Aka, the Ghost. His name means Sixty-Five. I’m not sure if he’s human?

Pretty self-explanatory. When he was introduced, the author felt the need to qualify his gender as male. I think that speaks for itself. XD; Jerry hardly appears again after his introduction. Woe.

The Finders Squads (探索部隊 ファインダー) are field agents for the Order and provide support for the Exorcists on their missions. They are also sent to investigate any strange occurances which could be related to Innocence.

Branch Leader of the Asia Branch, nicknamed “House of the Holy Ghost” (聖霊の家). Bak Chan is of Chinese descent, and the same age as Komui (29 years old), with cream-coloured hair and grey eyes. As Komui’s self-professed rival, he is determined to grab the position of Chief Monitor from Komui. He believes that Komui entered the Order and rose so quickly in the ranks because his sister is an Exorcist. He likes Linalee a lot, however. Linalee is like a goddess to him, and he’s willing to do anything if Linalee asked.

Bak Chan is descended from one of the founders of the Order, a German magician. More than that, he’d grown up in the Order all his life, and received advanced-level education from a young age. He excelled in all his studies and matters of intellect, and feels that he is a lot more worthy of being Chief Monitor than Komui. He claims, anyway. His family is highly respected, as they produce some of the most effective medicines (and other potions) used by the Order.

Bak Chan’s birthday is 11/11. This is the “best” date in the year, because they’re all “number one’s”. Perfect for one as oustanding as him, of course. Right.

Assitant to the Branch Leader. As a matter of fact, the Wong family has traditionally been in service to the Chan family. So, even though he’s a secretary of sorts to the Branch Leader, Wong also serves Bak Chan as a personal servant.

Guardian of the Asia Branch. She has the appearance of a little girl, no more than 12 years old, but she is not human. Her powers include safe-guarding the entire branch headquarters (which is underground), as well as metamorphosis. She shares a special relationship with Bak Chan. While Bak, as a member of the Chan family, has the ability to control the guardian, Fou has a habit of playing pranks and being mean to Bak as well.
