There's is an anime for this, but it's really horrible and mess it up completely. So honestly, don't watch it. Anywho, the manga is amazing. I really love the style and the plot. But I can't believe how sad it is, in a whole. It's so sad.

And you're right, the anime didn't do the storyline justice - you actually kinda like Aion and the others in the manga, while the anime just made him out to be evil incarnate!

Of course the anime and manga are different. It was always like that in any series. Yeah...the ending of Chrno Crusade was sad. T.T So sad I wanted to make a sig of it.

Ah... I've only watched the anime. But I'm reading the manga now. But I still LOVE the series, I also found the ending sad...

the anime was not JUST sad! It was downright depressing and most people (such as me and everyone I know that watched the anime) needed to watch ridiculously funny anime series right afterwards to even have the desire to get out of bed the next day. Ugh I'm the type that gets seriously affected by shows so while I watched the final eps of Chrno Crusade I had tissues right by me and I'm ashamed to say I used them all up. The manga has a less depressing ending and in my opinion it is more wholesome.

thouhg it had an original ending for a change, instead of all the stereotype happy endings....but stereotypical or not...i still like happy ends more ^^
especially cause i loved these characters so much and now..Well 1 is dead another is gone missing

I read the manga only half of it but i do say that the ending in the anime make me cry.

I read the first volume of the manga a while ago, and simply haven't gotten the chance to finish it. My anime club has begun to watch the anime during our meetings, so I'll give my thoughts on the matter when I finish the anime and/or manga.

Regardless, I enjoy the series, but I also love historical fiction pieces and the idea of priestly warrior orders. The group in Chrono Crusade may not exactly be as great as, say, Iscariot Division, but they're still an enjoyable group of characters.

Personally I like both pretty equally. I read the manga and watched the anime at the same time. The differences bothered me but I liked how they seemed to diverge into their own thing. I totally adore the artwork, and love reading Daisuke Moriyama's works.

One of the saddest series I've read and watched. The last episode and the last volume made me cry so much. Although I like both anime and manga, the manga is better because I think Rosette is much more stronger in the manga. They make her look weak in the anime... And some characters were not behaving like themselves... Like Aion.. >___> The art is beautiful, I like most of the characters and it' sad to read the last volume and finding out about their fates... They deserve so much better ;__;

I am currently at episode 3. >__< Glad my friend wanna lend her CC CD to me. The OP & ED themes are so beautiful. *cough* I am addicted with Tsubasa wo Pleasure Line already. XD Hnm, seeing you people saying the anime is different from the original work, I'll add CC into my manga list. Its true that original work is better than anything else.
I also think CC is a worth reading/watching.
