Hi DGMA staffs, I would like to suggest a new Forum to be created for Forum Members such as Introduction, Discussion on themselves, their lives, Birthdays, some topics that are concerned with talking about members. Meaning a seperation from the General Discusssion to have new and existing forum members be more familar and interactive with each other. The current General Discussion has many old threads (4 pages), which are can still be alive and active. The Forum is also quite messy to have many topics created, some members might not know whether the topic was created before.

For your consideration.

There is no need for a whole new section this, you can create a topic in the general section or the forum games section. Sides this topic exist and pinned for a reason Get to know DGMA members a little more.

But Masterori, the forum is disorganized. Members have to jump from forum to forum to post and some who wished to create new topics, would not know whether the topic is created before or not. Or maybe create a sub-forum within Introduction forum so that any topics can be gathered in the same area.

I don't think creating more forum sections is a good idea. The forum is alrady big as it is...and there is always the "Search" function if you need to find a topic or whatever.

And how is the forum disorganized??? Each section fits into a specific category that is easy to understand. And jumping from forum to forum is a common method of forum posting.

^ He doesn't mean the forum, though. He's just saying that the thread Masterori pointed out was disorganized, since people post multiple times in it, and its....way too tedious to search through all the pages for all of a specific member's posts..

Maximal was a section where people make topics, just about themselves. Maybe....so that when people come in here, they're not terrified about waiting to see whether or not they'll bite their heads off....?

If, Maximal, you could kindly elaborate on reasons why you want this section made, we might be able to come across a decision faster.

I think I can see what your saying but more sections will make this forum too big in terms scrolling up and down.

It might be possible if I ask asura to make it a sub forum in the intro section but then people will be confused where to post their intros as what I think you wanted is what should be included in the intro.

Hmmm, simple explanation: Transfer the all threads relevant to the same topic into one place.

I.e.

A new forum section created for Forum members (D.Gray-Man Forum Member) would have 2 or 3 sub forums:

"D.Gray-Man Anime Message Board > D.Gray-Man Forum Member > Introduction" would contain threads from new members to introduce themselves and for others to welcome them. Maybe first 5 newest members would have their thread pinned for a week and after that brought down.

and

"D.Gray-Man Anime Message Board > D.Gray-Man Forum Member > Getting to know others" would contain threads such as "Where are you from", "Color of Iris", "What's your first name", "Favorite color", "What's ur blood type", "Traits and Flaws", Talents, etc ...

and

"D.Gray-Man Anime Message Board > D.Gray-Man Forum Member > Lifestyle" would contain threads such as "Favourite Sports", Favourite activities", "Cooking and Baking", "Favourite Sports", "Favourite Food", "Goals in Life", "Greatest Acheivements", etc ...

Wouldn't this be more interactive?

The General Talk Forum would still retain the common question topics such as "What are you doing now?", "How are you feeling?", "What are you happy about?", "Wishes", "Where are you going today?", etc ...

It just gave people a feeling it's more easier to orientate themselves and navigate through the forum. Finding topics and threads would be more easier, wouldn't it?

One problem with that newer member will NOT know how to navigate around the forums it's a nice system you have there but cause too many sub forums and harder to navigate around and harder for mods to keep to track of everyone one, while in our current system it's more of a wider range of things in one space. Requires less navigation around the forums bit more messy it seems ( but I don't find it messy at all ) but it's easier for newer members too look around seeing what we have to offer

And some of the things you listed would normally be in the intro already else I think the threads in the general section is a better idea

Yes, I admit it would take a lot of works for the staffs. It's kinda like an office doing reshuffling and reorganization of various departments.

There is room for improvement for this idea and perhaps can start with moving "Get to know others" to Introduction. I haven't got the chance to work on a full proposal. But in any case this is for your consideration. C=

The Man on the Moor

drove out of Newtown and went to begin my search for the mysterious man on the moor.There were hundreds of the old stone huts on the moor.Barrymore did not know in which of them the mysterious man was living.I had seen the man on the night when Sir Henry and I had chased Selden,so I decided to start my search near that place.

The path I took ran past Mr Frankland's house,and I saw him standing at his gate He called to me,and invited me to go in and have a drink with him.He had been arguing with the police,and was angry with them. He began to tell me about it.

I realized that the mysterious man had told someone to watch me,and this was a message from his spy.Was the man a dangerous enemy? Or was he a friend who was watching us to make sure we were safe?I decided I would not leave the hut until I knew.
