Full Version: What type of manga/anime do you like to read/watch?
Everyone has a favourite manga/anime but what type do you like best? Is it adventure, sci-fic, horror, mystery, romance or others? There is a wide variety and you may choose more than 1 type.

When I'm high...I like the comedy type...such as Ranma 1/2, Princess Princess or Doraemon...
When I'm low...I like the philosophic type...like Hajime(the oneshot), Stigma, Adidas Fever, Hikaru no Go,...
When I'm bored...I like the dark, twisted type...for example, Monster, Godchild, Ludwig Kakumei, Boys Next Door,...
Otherwise...I'd stick with long shounen series which have pretty much all of the above...But such a manga/anime would have to be very good to keep me going from the beginning to the end. Nabari no Ou, 07 GHOST, Death Note, Fullmetal Alchemist, Yami no Matsuei are such examples.
I like all of the above. But normally, I like the philosophic ones the most, especially oneshots. Second comes dark, twisted stories.
I'm missing out fighting and romance. They can be good decoration, but not necessarily required.

I'm not sure, it all depends on how good the story is.

Then I like stuff with blood and gore (Elfen Lied)
So yeah it all depends on how good the story is and how long it can maintain my interest.
