Well a drama adaption of the manga/anime starring actors and actresses. What are your thoughts?

Err.. I can't picture it in my mind. No anime have been made a real action drama yet. Well.. accept for Dragon Ball. We have to see about that.

I don't think any drama director would takes this project since it is costly with the effects and the casts.

Can't think of anyone being my Allen and Komui.

Well, Death Note and Mushishi animations had live-actions. However, those types of anime wouldn't be very hard to pull off.
The main issues with anime being made into live action movies is that the fighting scenes could be incredibly stupid looking. And, then there's finding good actors that could portray the characters well and still slightly look like them. Anyway, I might actually try watching it if they ever did make a movie, but overall I usually never like 'em that much~ xP

Ah.. I forgot about that movie.. But the only think I feel good about Death Note is the actor for L.. he's suitable for that part.. I can't think of any charater other than L.. laugh.gif

OK, back to the topic..

When I try imagine DGM into a drama I keep remembering Garo and Kamen Rider. Err... Can't accept that .. >:(

Great Teacher Onizuka is also a great anime/drama show. ^__^

I believe they must assemble the right team and with a good storyline, it should be quite good. And yea I agree with Tavia, a movie would be good!! Hope to see Allen and Kanda in real life acting. Hee hee hee

It would be totally awesome if they came up with a real-life movie/show on D.Gray-man!!

But, as mentioned, the first thing that will decide what I think of the real-life show would be the looks of the characters. And, once again, as mentioned, the actor who played L was seriously awesome. The make-up, the look, it was simply... "L came to the real world!" WEll, the fight scenes too, will have to make it look, as mentioned, real. Which is quite impossible seeing as D. Gray-man has glowing weapons, shape shifting body parts... AKUMAs too. And Allen's eye? Hevlaska. LOL. THe animation has got to fit in into the show completely. Perhaps like Ryuk from Death note? o.0

Unless D. Gray-man really becomes a big hit, such a show may be impossible. Sigh... But really, if they did one, the first thing I would be looking out for would be the appearance of the actors. When I saw the dragonball one, just the poster that is, I was like, "From a japanese anime to an english cast? The whole thing about Goku being japanese is totally lost!" I'm not biased against english movies, I'm just looking for movies that don't divert too much from the original work. Note: I have a relative who's a huge fan dragonball and when I asked his opinion on the movie, he simple replied, "Stupid." XD

AHHHH~~~

OwO A live-action D. Gray-Man would be okay I guess...

The thing is, DGM is more of an action manga more than a slice-of-life drama manga (Like Death Note). The cast and movie producer will have to go through a lot of trouble to make the show not corny with all the fighting. And akumas and Hevlaska AND THE EARL would probably look real funny to us XD;;
